The Reno Tahoe Winter Games Coalition Wants You!
Working toward a potential Winter Games bid is truly a region-wide effort. It will take the tireless efforts of our best, brightest and most motivated community members. We have a tremendous nucleus of board members and volunteers but are always seeking individuals, businesses and agencies ready to bring their time and talent to the planning table.
We also seek individuals from the region who are heavily involved in the sports that comprise the Olympic and Paralympic programs, both winter and summer. We intend to host, facilitate and assist in bringing sports events and conventions/conferences to our region that will increase our credibility with the Olympic Movement. We seek to create a list of volunteers capable of assisting in this effort, from the planning stages to the actual on-site management of them.
The time to act is now! Opportunities like ours don’t come along every day. Reno-Tahoe is a wonderful place to call home and one we already share with tourists throughout the year. Join us in showcasing our region to the world and writing a new chapter for our rich Olympic Heritage!
